ZUNA VESAN KOZÁNKOVÁ
Zuna Vesan Kozánková has been dancing all her life. She considers dance as one of the potential expressions of her Daoist soul. Zuna studied dance at Dance Conservatory and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia; she studied shiatsu at Shiatsu KI School, in Czech republic; and her Chinese medicine (acupuncture) studies took place at the University Guang Ming Beijing in Prague, Czech Republic. She also spent some time on various study tours throughout Europe and Asia. Over the recent years, Zuna has been intesively studying Chinese medicine, Qigong and Daoism and has dedicated her studies to search of interactive interrelations of these ancient teachings with movement of a human body. In addition to being a shiatsu practitioner herself, she has been leading her own Shiatsu School in Slovakia since 2007 (www.shiatsu-terapie.sk).
Zuna has been teaching for about 25 years during which she has developed her unique approach to body work based on experiential analysis of human anatomy and energy flows in human body. She relates and links this knowledge to the universal principles of Taoism. In this way, she brings out to her students new outlooks and fresh teachings on the movement inteligence.
Unique qualities in Zuna’s teaching include her calm, compassionate, and competent approach to movement and the body. Zuna is popular as a teacher of dance, body movement and shiatsu in Bratislava (SK), Prague (CZ), Salzburg, Vienna (A), Leeds (UK), Freiburg (D), Wroclaw (PL), Bangkok (TH) and Beijing (CN).

MILAN KOZÁNEK
Milan graduated from the Department of Dance at the Academy of Performing Arts. Since the graduation he has worked as a dance teacher, choreographer and expert advisor. He regularly worked as a teacher in institutions such as Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), Tanz Quartier Wien, Konservatorium Wien University / AT, Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds / UK, TIP - School for Dance, Improvisation and Performance in Freiburg / D, University of Calgary / Canada. In 1996, he and Zuna Vesan Kozánková founded the Artyci Dance Company. They have/had created several dance works that are/were presented in Slovakia, as well in abroad (Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Canada, Thailand, China ...). Recently, Milan has been elaborating a cooperation with theater creators and performers operating mainly in the Polish city of Wroclaw (Studio Matejka, Song of the Goat Theatre and others). In addition to working with professional dancers and actors, Milan has been also teaching people without dance experience, for many years, particularly in the Czech Republic and Poland. He implements his relationship with eastern philosophies by studying Chinese and Japanese caligraphy, practicing intuitive archery, studying Chinese philosophy by means of a system of exercises I Liq Chuan of the master Sam F.S. Chin. He devotes himself theoretically as well practically to an oracle practice based on the Book of Changes – Yi Jing.
